Palazzo Vitta - Vetrata all'ingresso

Period: It was Giacomo II Natta, captain of the Ducal Guard who restored the building at the end of the seventeenth century. Later purchased by Emilio Vitta at the end of the eighteenth century, it was restored in Neoclassical style

Present Use: It is now the property of the Collegio Convitto Municipale Trevisio in Casale

Façade: The long façade has tall windows placed at regular intervals and is enclosed between a curvilinear tympanum under a stylized shell. The imposing, off-centered portal, enclosed by an architrave, is surmounted by a transom in wrought iron with the initials of the banker Vitta on it

Palazzo Vitta - Salone d'ingresso

The Interior: the building has an irregular plan and is traversed by a central path that divides the big centre courtyard in two. The entrance hall, which has a wide gallery, is decorated in the neoclassical style using paper pulp plaster and has on display weapons and armour. All the vaulted ceilings of the piano nobile floor have frescoes painted by the brothers Fabrizio and Bernardino Galliari
